Hi! We’re Good Gorilla and we run The Station, a coworking space for creative freelancers in Toronto.
Members of our community include illustrators, designers, developers, writers, marketers, and other creative freelancers. Our coworkers have a variety of goals, strengths, and experiences. These diverse members and people from Toronto’s creative community connect over snacks and drinks each week at our space in 401 Richmond.
Every Monday from 6:30pm – 8:30pm, we gather for Design Discussion to talk about the unique challenges, successes, and advantages that creatives and freelancers face. Focusing on a different theme each month, we cover everything from client relationships to personal development and business operations.
Led by designer Eitan Zohar, it’s an opportunity to:
- Participate in constructive and supportive project critiques
- Contribute to open discussion
- Learn from other people’s industry experiences and skills
- Network in a fun and casual environment with like-minded professionals
Everyone is welcome! The event is free and open to non-members and creatives from all practices and backgrounds. Whether you have just graduated or have years of professional experience, we want to hear your thoughts.
Can’t make it on Mondays?
Not sure what to expect?
Miss last week?
This blog is the place to find quick recaps, interviews, and takeaways that emerge during our weekly Design Discussion. We’ll also highlight work from our community. We hope to provide the space and resources for creative freelancers to connect, grow, and get inspired professionally and personally.
Join us next week to find out what we’re about in person and share your knowledge and perspective. RSVP online now or contact us to learn more about our Toronto coworking space at The Station by Good Gorilla.
